Seahawks have ‘high expectations for’ Christine Michael Blogs

Michael ‘to get a ton of work’: Don’t expect the Seahawks offense to go away from Marshawn Lynch as its focal point any time soon, but the team could be preparing for a Beast Mode-less future. Head coach Pete Carroll recently told reporters that Christine Michael is “going to get a ton of work.” Last season, Michael had only 18 carries and was buried behind Lynch and Robert Turbin on the depth chart. This season, the young runner from Texas A&M could battle with Turbin for the No. 2 running back job. Michael’s value will be greater in dynasty leagues than most other formats, but with Lynch set to be a free agent after the 2015 season, Michael is a name worth remembering for the future.
